Pop-Up Exhibit at the Johnstown Library
July 7 – July 31, 2026
Each year, the Johnstown Historical Society partners with the Glenn A. Jones, M.D. Memorial Library to share a unique chapter of our community’s history through a special exhibit. Our July 2026 display commemorates the 100 year anniversary of the opening of Johnstown’s Great Western Sugar factory, and it also highlights our community projects connected to the nation’s 250th anniversary and Colorado’s 150th anniversary celebrations.

Cemetery Crawl

The 2026 Cemetery Crawl will be an incredible one-of-a-kind event. Attendees will meet Johnstown residents both past and present in a historically haunting cemetery tour of the Johnstown Cemetery. It’s the perfect way to experience Johnstown’s vibrant history and the remarkable figures who helped shape it. Join us for a delightful event where the past comes out to play!
