For over 120 years, The Johnstown Breeze has captured the heart and history of our town. Now, the Johnstown Historical Society, in partnership with The Breeze and the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection (CHNC), is working to digitize the full archive. This project will ensure that the Johnstown community’s stories, milestones, and memories are fully preserved in a free online searchable database.

The 2026 Cemetery Crawl will be an incredible one-of-a-kind event. Attendees will meet Johnstown residents both past and present in a historically haunting cemetery tour of the Johnstown Cemetery. It’s the perfect way to experience Johnstown’s vibrant history and the remarkable figures who helped shape it. Join us for a delightful event where the past comes out to play!

Each year, our Holiday Open House features a unique theme that helps shape the experience and adds a special touch to the season. For 70 years, Letford Elementary was a place of learning and memories. It was demolished in 2023, but you can keep its legacy alive with a piece to treasure at home or share with someone special.
