For over 120 years, The Johnstown Breeze has captured the heart and history of our town. Now, the Johnstown Historical Society, in partnership with The Breeze and the Colorado Historic Newspaper Collection (CHNC), is working to digitize the full archive. This project will ensure that the Johnstown community’s stories, milestones, and memories are fully preserved in a free online searchable database for future generations to access.

The 2026 Cemetery Crawl will be an incredible one-of-a-kind event. Attendees will meet Johnstown residents both past and present in a historically haunting cemetery tour of the Johnstown Cemetery. It’s the perfect way to experience Johnstown’s vibrant history and the remarkable figures who helped shape it. Join us for a delightful event where the past comes out to play!
