Tradition, Togetherness, and Twinkling Lights! This event welcomed record attendance in 2025, and we look forward to welcoming familiar faces and new friends again in 2026. Each year, our Holiday Open House features a unique theme that helps shape the experience and adds a special touch to the season. It’s the most wonderful time of the year to spend with family, friends, and community.

This event is free and open to the public. We hope you’ll join us as we continue this growing tradition together.

About The Event

Visitors step back in time and experience the warmth and wonder of the season in one of Johnstown’s most cherished settings as they explore our beautifully decorated rooms, each styled in the spirit of holiday’s past. It’s perfect mix of timeless charm and community merriment!

Register : No registration is required. This is a come and go event.

Attire : Attire is casual, so just come as you are and enjoy a relaxed holiday open house with us.

Restrooms : There are two restrooms available on site, include one that is handicap accessible.

Parking : Attendees may park on the streets surrounding the Historic Parish House & Museum. Handicap-accessible parking is available in front of the garage behind the museum.

Check-In : Upon your arrival, please be sure to sign our guestbook located just inside our entrance. Here you can also make a donation and browse our Commemorative Keepsakes, perfect for last-minute holiday shopping..

Accessibility : Accessibility accommodations available. Please contact us in advance for any special needs.

Food & Drink : Complimentary refreshments, cookies and classic holiday sweets will be served.

Activities & Crafts : We will offer hands-on holiday crafts and activities for both kids and adults, for those who choose to participate.
