History Shared and Community Celebrated! This historic community event brings together families, friends, and local businesses to celebrate life in Johnstown. As proud participants in the town’s annual BBQ Day celebration, we enjoy incorporating elements of Johnstown’s rich history into our activities each year. We look forward to continuing the tradition in 2027 and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Museum Tours

Times: 9am-12pm

Location: 701 Charlotte Street

Cost: FREE!

The Historic Parish House and Museum will provide tours of the former home of the Harvey and Mary Parish family, as well as our exhibits…including the famous meteorite crash of 1924! The house is only accessible by a flight of stairs, but the Visitor’s Center features a short film of the home’s interior and collections for those who cannot take the stairs.
